Sample handling requirements:
For all sample types, a minimum of 2 sample identifiers are required on every sample sent to Correlagen.
For blood samples:
2 ml whole blood in EDTA (lavender top tube). Samples may be stored for brief periods at 4°C, but should be shipped on day of collection. Ship overnight at room temperature.
For DNA samples:
Minimum requirement of 1 µg DNA, preferably in 10 mM TE (if different, please specify). DNA concentration should be clearly
indicated. Ship overnight at room temperature.
For buccal swab samples:

For International shipping:
Samples may be stored at 4°C for brief periods, but should be
shipped on the day of collection for arrival within 48-72 hours. For all sample types, a minimum of 2 sample identifiers are required on every sample sent to Correlagen.
- Enter all required information on the Customs Letter included in the International Ordering Documents packages. Specify whether shipping blood, DNA, or buccal swab samples.
- Make 3 copies of the completed Customs Letter.
- Place all 3 copies, along with airbill, in the plastic pouch on the package and mark "Attention Customs."
- Do NOT seal the pouch so that customs officials can access the documents.
- Ship to the above address.
